PRINCIPIA PERONE
With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Principia Perone on Thursday, March 7, 2019, in her 91st year. Now reunited with her late husband Giuseppe Perone and son "Peppino" Perone. Beloved mother to Anna Marcello, Laura Candelaresi, Pina Perone-Szymczyk and Marzano Perone (Michele). Cherished Nonna to 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Loving oldest sister to 8 siblings. Principia was hard working and devoted to her family. Happiest when surrounded by those she loved, she welcomed all into her home, always prepared with a quick frittata or her own special cookies. Perhaps a sign of being born on St. Patrick's Day, Principia always had words of wisdom, "Don't spend money" or as she often told her grandchildren "be good". She enjoyed spending time in her beautiful gardens or tending to the best lawn on the block! She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by family and friends. Visitation will take place at Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway #7, Woodbridge) on Monday from 2-4 & 6-9 pm. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sick Kids Foundation (Hospital For Sick Children) would be appreciated.
