Larry Frederick Samuel Carrine, age 64 of Toronto, passed away in his sleep on Friday, March 8th, 2019.
He was predeceased by his wife Patricia nearly 7 months prior. May they rest together peacefully.
Larry is survived by his sister Janis Biondolillo. Further survived by his sons Brendon and his wife Xhemile, Christopher, Matthew and his wife Rachel, daughter Samantha and her husband Mike Pietras. Grandchildren include Jessica, Austin, Misia, Lukas, and great-granddaughter Scarlett.
Larry wore many hats…
A husband, a brother, a father, a grandfather, a mentor, a raconteur, a friend to raise a glass with (or mug), internet troll, internet phenomenon, Jack-of-all-trades (whenever he got around to it), a man of his word, a good person, a great man…
He married his high-school sweetheart at the age of 20 and quickly got to work building a family. By 30, he and Patricia had a full house and really hit their stride. They created a loving, supportive environment where all were welcome and for their children to flourish.
Always quick to open his door to family and friends, you could surely count on Larry to stand in the garage with you and shoot the breeze.
Upon his retirement from the TTC, Larry’s focus shifted to his grandchildren and eventually great-grandchildren. There was no denying; those kids lit up his life.
Larry was a force to be reckoned with, a true spark, life just doesn’t seem as bright without him.
