With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Luisa Rodulfo on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the age of 97. Beloved mother to Mirta, Armando and Enrique. Cherished grandmother to Patricia, Luis, Josmary, Yancir, Yaelin, Julio, Cirilo and Laxmi. Dearly missed by her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Luisa was a hardworking and devoted mother. Born in Venezuela almost a century ago, she raised her children on her own and taught them the values of respect and work hard in order to be successful. She was incredible proud of the accomplishments which her children achieved in life. Despite that success, she always stressed the importance of family. Not allowing distance to be a factor, she often would face time family members she never had the chance to meet in person. In quieter moments she enjoyed time spent sewing. Luisa's kind nature will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by many. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway #7, Woodbridge) on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hill House Hospice would be appreciated.
