Gerry has traded in an eventful and long life on earth for eternity with Jesus whom he loved and served. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary,his parents William and Dorothy Young, his sister Shirley,3 brothers Bill, Jack, and Ted. He is survived by 3 siblings Gayann Davey (Reg), Tina Behrens (Skip), Reg Young (Marsha), and 25 nieces and nephews. In Gerry’s long life he was a Steel worker, boxer, Ryerson grad (53), travelling salesman, insurance broker, self employed horse trainer/farmer, real estate sales, and in his retirement years a missionary (and author of 2 books) who made over 20 short term trips to various countries in the world. In the last 10 years he faithfully served the ‘best coffee in Brampton’ on Thursday mornings at Regeneration. Family and friends will be received at Kennedy Road Tabernacle, 141 Kennedy Road N. Brampton, Wednesday April 24, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until a time of service at 11:00 a.m. In Gerry’s memory donations to Regeneration Outreach or the Kennedy Road Tabernacle – Cuba 2019 Mission would be appreciated.
