Obituary

Tiberio Mascarin
August 7, 1931 - June 1, 2019

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our dear father and grandfather(Nonno).
Beloved husband to his late wife Yvette-Marie Borean and loving father to Livio(Lena), Livian(Aldo), Fabio and his late son Anthony. Proud grandfather to Anthony(Susan),Alexander, Natalie(Alexander), Christopher, Julia, Joseph and Nicholas.
Our dad immigrated from Azzano Decimo, Italy, leaving behind a loving family for the new world. He established himself as a hard working man with great wisdom and knowledge that he happily shared with his family and many friends.
His love for his family was evident with his generous heart and he will be greatly missed by his children, grandchildren, and his family in Italy, France and Australia.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Sick Kids Hospital will be greatly appreciated.

Deepest and most sincere condolences to the family of Tiberio Mascarin. He was a true friend and confidant to me who often invited me into his home and shared so many stories with me along with some of his special wine and some cheese and salami. I was always very touched by the fact that although he was usually strictly business and seldom invited people into his private home, yet he continually called me at my home next door and invited me over so often. My autistic son Jay would join us on some of these invited visits and I was first hand witness to the kindness and consideration Tiberio exuded for special needs children. Every year I would host a garden party in my backyard for supporters of an organization that I founded to benefit autism named Autism Sings, and every year Tiberio would personally knock on my door like clockwork, and hand deliver a couple cases of Italian wine and Italian beer in advance of the party as part of his annual donation to our cause! I was very saddened to receive his personal call when his wife Yvette passed away a few years ago, yet felt very honored to be one of the first people that he said he contacted to be with him during this trying time. His special gift to me at that time, was a book entitled "Roman Wisdom for a better life" that basically spelled out his own values that he sought to live by. This again served to confirm the true respect that he rightfully deserved for being a good decent man for all the right reasons. I trust that he will be forever remembered by everyone the same way that we remember ! "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal", RIP Tiberio Mascarin.
