Giuseppina Gismondi

God called Giuseppina (nee Mastroserio) peacefully on Thursday July
11, 2019 to be by his side at the age of 92.
Giuseppina was born in Cassano del Murge, Italy on January 15, 1927.
Beloved wife of the late Pasquale. Loving Mother to Angelo ( Ria),
Maria ( Richard). Proud Nonna to Adriano, Tara, Sabrina (Zach), Ryan
and Oriana.
She will be reunited in Heaven with her husband Pasquale, her parents
Giuseppe and Vita Maria, her brothers Michele, Luca and Nicola, and
her sisters Angela and Maria.
She will be held dearly in the hearts of her relatives and friends and
loving caregiver of the last five years Daphene.
She will be forever remembered for her love of homemade cooking
especially her famous breadsticks, focaccia bread and lasagna.
Family will receive friends at Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, just
west of Pine Valley Dr.) 905-851-9100 on Sunday July 14, 2-4 pm and
Sunday 6-8 pm. A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday July 15,
2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, 625 Atwater Ave, Mississsuga,
Ontario. Entombment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. If
desired donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by
the family.
