Passed away suddenly in Brampton on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Loving husband and best friend of Rita Veldhoen for 61 years. Devoted father of Dirk & Shelley Veldhoen, Mathilda & Tom Frost, Jeff & Karen Veldhoen, John Veldhoen (1963-2014) and Chris Veldhoen. Cherished Grandpa and Opa of Kayla (Aaron), Kalvin, Lindsay, Nicole, Krystal (Caleb, Jonathan & Lukas), Spencer, Marita, Jason, Melissa and Alicia. Fondly loved and remembered by his extended family members and his many friends. Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South, Brampton, on Tuesday, November 19 from 6 – 8 pm. Memorial Service will be held at Heritage Hall, Holland Christian Homes, 7900 McLaughlin Road, Brampton, on Wednesday, November 20 at 2 pm. Pastor Henk Bruinsma officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
