Filomena Cicco NEE Tersigni
Peacefully surrounded by family passed at William Osler Health Centre (Etobicoke Campus), at the age of 91. Beloved wife to the late husband Domenico Giuseppe. Loving and devoted mother to Santino (Maria) and proud and cherished nonna to Christian Matthew. Dear sister to the late Francesco (survived by Rosina), the late Pasquale (late Vincenza), Lucia (late Gino) and Maria (late Antonio). Dear sister in law to the late Pasquale (late Teresa), late Maria (late Antonio), Assunta (late Giuseppe), the late Antonio (survived by Giovanna), the late Lorenzo (survived by Ida) and the late Palma (survived by Giuseppe). She will also be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Filomena was a talented gardener and gifted home cook who lived her faith with great compassion and love. Many thanks to the kind staff at Villa Leonardo Gambin who cared for her in the sunset of her life.
Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Drive) 905 851 9100, on Monday 16th from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Padre Pio Church, 5500 Major Mackenzie Drive West, Kleinburg 10 am , on Tuesday, December 17th. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery. Donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society or to a charity of your choice.
