It is with much sadness that the family of Richard Black announce his passing on Sunday January 12th, 2020. Richard had spent the last 25 years fighting multiple medical issues but Cancer brought him down. Our blessing is that it was fast and painless. Richard was able to spend his last day peacefully with his wife of 36 years, Janet, and his daughter Laurie and husband David, Becky and husband Chris, all at his side; and then slip off to his final sleep.

Richard was known for his huge heart and his generous nature, and of course his aggravating belief that he knew best for every person he knew and cared about, and you did not experience one side of him without the other. Richard enjoyed silliness and playfulness and his Grandchildren especially will miss him. Wolfe and Rosy lost their Poppa, and Nick and Nicole lost their extremely proud Grandpa.
