Obituary for Carmelina Covatta
COVATTA, CARMELINA (nee FRACASSI)
Peacefully on March 22, 2020 at Humber River Hospital, North York in her 94th year. She will be reunited with her late husband Angelo. Loving mother of Mario (Carol) and Josie (Ralph) and beloved grandmother of Marco (Maralisa), Daniela (Dennis), Daniel and Matthew (Jenifer). Much loved great-grandmother (Nonnina) of Leila, Mathew, Dylan, Madeline, and Angelina.
She will also be reunited with her siblings Giuseppina (Michele), Gino (Giovanna), Rosina (Angelo), Antonio. Dear sister-in-law of Carmela (Gaetano predeceased) and Marsilia. She will be greatly missed by many nephews, nieces and friends.
A private family funeral will be held followed by entombment at Westminster Cemetery.
Friends may visit the Ward Funeral Home website to pay their respects on-line. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when circumstances will allow.
Donations may be made in her honour to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
